This tea kettle will not hold water, looking from the inside you can see daylight and it looks like it was amaturely soldered. There is a small dent in the lid. The main body appears to be copper and it is non magnetic and based off the coloring on the underside of the lid I belive it to be copper. The handle appears more of a brass color but it is also non magnetic therfore I am not positive what metal the handle is made out of. Based off of Google searches this tea kettle looks to be a Demark Rood Boden tea kettle. Measures 9.75" diameter 11" tall (including handle) and 12.5" long. Overall a unique piece!
